Why, season 9, WHYYYYYYYYY

14-3.  We’ve never done so well in 2v2.  Sure, we won 10 in a row last season as double healer, but that was different.  We had a new team with a horrible rank starting out.  This is moderately legitimate, shadow priest / resto druid 2v2.  We thought to try to get from last week’s rating of 1080 to 1550 for the achievement, but even going 14-3 didn’t help THAT much.  230ish points is nice but meh, I was hoping for a miracle!

Anyhow, with season 9 ending this week, I guess it’s pointless to worry about buying any honor gear (which I still did today) and instead focus on getting to the 4000 honor cap.  I’ve got a few days to do that, and any pvp’er probably should too!  That way, for the uneducated, you’ll be able to buy the most vicious gladiator pieces for honor (because that’s what they will be bought for once this season ends and the next one starts), and any remaining current honor pieces you don’t have can be crafted. There. Voila, you’re welcome.

As an aside, our guild on Coilfang did some 5s last week, 13 matches, went 7-6 with a rating of 671.  Apparently, of the 1986 teams that are currently active on the battlegroup, that is good enough for the top 17%.  So after one week of 5s, we’re all getting Challenger titles.

Am I somehow wrong in thinking this is the case? Is there some “must play 300 games minimum to qualify” restriction I’m not aware of?

As far as I know, there’s no minimum played requirement, but I am no arena expert.

And we managed to get that 14-3 with you drinking and full of rage! Extra impressive.
